    Had high hopes for its camera class but no… While the camera has lots of bells and whistles, cool features and appears well made…hence the 3 stars to be fair. Despite hours and hours of messing with settings and taking photos, the only photos that were in the acceptable range even for its class were outdoor sunlight. Anything else was noisy. The movie capability was the most disappointing. Camera struggled to maintain focus but most annoying of all was the internal warbles, clicks and hum that was captured on the sound track. I had heard about this on prior generation of the series but assumed rare or you’d have really listen to hear. But no, it was a very prominent electronic sound that competed with the sound intended in the movie. I tried various approaches to minimize but I couldnt. Also while I have a relatively current Android smartphone, the Olympus app would sometimes freeze the phone such that it was inoperable for a minute or more were you couldnt do anything at all.
